Check back with the site in March to see the Award winners with their trophies for the 2006 season!

Team Effort

Batsman Of The Year - Dave Evemy
Congratulations to Dave on yet another batsman of the year award, which was richly deserved after some fine performances last season.

Bowler Of The Year - Glenn McLeod
Well done Glenn on your first bowler of the year award after some fine displays of bowling. Also this years leading wicket taker. (You'll have to work hard to retain it this year I think)

Fielder Of The Year - Andrew Wilkes / Ben Wilkes
Well done to Andrew and Ben for winning this award. This is the second year in a row for Andrew, but honours had to be shared this year for both showing some fine fielding form.

Most Improved Player - Ben Wilkes
Well done Ben for winning this award for the second season in a row. Showed he will be around for many years to come. Some assured batting, along with his natural fielding ability showed us exactly what we have to look forward to from this young prodigy in only his second season with the club.

Player Of The Year - Dave Evemy
A big well done to Dave for winning this award, well deserved, and clearly only one winner after his previous award for his outstanding batting, coupled with the usual high standard of wicketkeeping. Keep up the good work next season Dave!

10,000 Career Runs. Gerry Mierzynski
Well done Gerry on reaching the big 10,000 runs...Rumour has it you were meant to retire............This Award is well deserved and is not likely to be easy for any one else to reach...

Well done to all the award winners.....

Rob Wilkes would be proud to see his Son and Grandson's name on some of the awards this year for the second year running.

A Big Thank you to the Wilkes family for allowing me to use the picture on the site. Here is Rob holding his Grand daughter Jodie
